Official Rules: Satoshi Fountain giveaway
No purchase or tip necessary. A tip won’t improve your odds. 18+. Void where prohibited.
1. Sponsor
- SatoshiStatues.com (the “Sponsor”).
- Questions: support@satoshistatues.com
2. Eligibility
- Open to people 18 or older where permitted by law. Void where prohibited or restricted.
3. How to take part
- Complete a check-in at a participating statue (Budapest, Lugano, El Zonte, Vienna, Buenos Aires) that our server verifies (GPS, within 150 m). Our server then draws your amount and shows it to you right away. To receive it, enter a Lightning address within the claim time shown (21 minutes).
- No purchase or tip is necessary. Tips never affect taking part, the odds or the amount.
- One payout per Lightning address per statue and one per passport (device) per statue. Daily limits apply per statue, per network and overall.
4. Amounts and odds
- Each verified check-in reveals 1–121 sats or, about 1 in 121 times, a Lucky 1,021 sats, while the giveaway budget and daily limits last.
- Each valid check-in receives a random amount from 1 to 121 sats, or a rare 1,021-sat bonus. Our server picks the amount with a cryptographic random number generator. Nothing you do on the page changes it.
- The odds of the 1,021-sat bonus are 1 in 121 per valid check-in. The average amount is 42 sats.
- The amount is drawn once per passport (device) per statue per day, at check-in. It is reserved for you during the claim time (21 minutes) and counts against the giveaway budget and daily limits while it is reserved. If it isn’t claimed in time, it is released back to the giveaway budget. Checking in again the same day shows the same amount; it doesn’t draw a new one.
- The total giveaway budget is set by the Sponsor, and the giveaway sats left are shown on each participating statue page.
- If the amount drawn is more than what is left of the giveaway budget, or of the daily limit of 1,300 sats across all statues, you are shown and can claim what is left instead, so a Lucky 1,021 draw may not be paid in full. If nothing is left, you are told before you enter a Lightning address.
| Amount per valid check-in | Odds |
|---|---|
| 1,021 sats (Lucky 1,021) | 1 in 121 (0.8%) |

| 11–25 sats (each amount in this range equally likely) | 420 in 1,210 (34.7%) |
| 26–50 sats (each amount in this range equally likely) | 340 in 1,210 (28.1%) |
| 51–121 sats (each amount in this range equally likely) | 220 in 1,210 (18.2%) |
5. Period
- From the start of the giveaway until the giveaway budget runs out or the Sponsor ends it, whichever comes first.
6. Payment
- Paid in sats over Lightning only, to the Lightning address you enter. No cash or other alternative. Not transferable.
- Lightning payments can’t be reversed. Check your Lightning address before you send it.
- Recipients are responsible for any taxes that apply to them.
7. Changes and disqualification
- The Sponsor may end, pause or change the giveaway at any time.
- The Sponsor may refuse or cancel payouts and disqualify anyone for fraud, spoofed or faked location, automation, multiple devices or addresses, or other abuse.
8. Safety
- Taking part is at your own risk. Obey local laws and any rules at the site.
- Don’t trespass. Only visit statues from public places or during opening hours, and respect private property.
